Text Monkey PRO gets 4-1/2 stars at QArchive.org, and these words of praise:

This program should [come on] every computer that is going to do any kind of text or email work … I consider this a must-have program, and find it very easy to use. We have an unwritten rule here that NO email gets forwarded that isn't cleaned up … used to take a lot of effort before, but with Text Monkey (both lite and pro) it is effortless … Might have to save up and purchase the pro version as I can see it does much more, like clean up spaces and unwanted lines. Very nice program and very stable.

And that's the underlying strategy of The Permutator: it can often be more cost-effective to target a large number of less common search terms than a small number of the most common (ie, expensive) terms.
